Portfolio PMO Role
We are seeking a Portfolio PMO to join a technology portfolio management function within a leading global investment bank. Initial 6-month contract with a hybrid working model (2/3 days in the office per week).
This role is suited to an experienced PMO or portfolio professional with a background in financial services, ideally banking, who can support IT governance, portfolio reporting, financial tracking, and executive-level management information.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate IT project portfolio data, including status, milestones, risks, benefits, and financial information.
- Support project governance processes and ensure compliance with delivery frameworks and regulatory expectations.
- Produce dashboards, MI, and executive reporting for senior stakeholders.
- Support budget management, forecasting, actuals tracking, and variance analysis.
- Review project updates and provide constructive challenge to ensure quality reporting.
- Support governance meetings, portfolio processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with technology teams, project managers, and finance stakeholders.

About You
You will have:
- Experience working in a PMO, Project Portfolio Management, or project governance role within financial services (banking preferred).
- Strong understanding of IT project delivery and governance frameworks.
- Experience with project financial tracking, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong Excel and reporting skills, with experience producing dashboards and management information.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with senior stakeholders.
- A proactive, organized approach with strong attention to detail.
