Job Purpose

This role is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and operational integrity of a central London portfolio of premium commercial properties. Acting as the first line of protection and reassurance for tenants and the property team outside of core office hours, this role demands vigilance, professionalism, and discretion while ensuring all buildings are properly secured and prepared for the night. It is suited to an experienced professional who values responsibility, routine, and the consistent delivery of efficient service across the company’s real estate assets. Working hours - 2pm - 10 pm, Monday - Friday with occasional weekends.

Key Responsibilities

On-Site Security at the Main Building (2:00 PM – 8:00 PM)

  • Ensure smooth handover with daytime concierge and Facilities Management staff, noting any ongoing issues, required actions, or customer liaison needs.
  • Maintain a visible presence at reception and within communal areas of Byron House.
  • Engage with tenants in a polite and friendly manner.
  • Monitor and manage access control to ensure only authorized personnel are on site.
  • Conduct scheduled patrols and building checks according to established procedures, with a key focus on securing and shutting down communal amenities, including wellness facilities and event spaces, at 9:00 PM.
  • Identify and report any cleanliness, health and safety, building system or security issues using the building’s reporting system.
  • Oversee the nightly close of the lower ground floor gym facility, ensuring equipment and the amenity are checked for issues that need to be reported, and that the facility is ready for use the next morning.
  • Oversee the nightly close of the rooftop amenity (liaising with external parties as required should there be scheduled events), ensuring the facility is cleaned and checked for issues that need to be reported, and that the facility is ready for use the next morning.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
