POS Manager

Location: Nottingham (Hybrid - Monday to Wednesday in the office)
Salary: Up to £50,000 + Benefits

We're partnering with a leading multi-site retailer to recruit a POS Manager who will take ownership of all in-store point of sale activity across a nationwide retail estate.
This is a hands-on role for someone who understands the full POS lifecycle-from briefing creative and managing print production through to ensuring the right materials land in the right stores at the right time. If you're someone who enjoys bringing structure to processes, building strong relationships and making things happen, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

Reporting into the Marketing Director, you'll lead the planning, production and delivery of all in-store POS activity, ensuring stores are fully supported for new product launches, promotional campaigns and service messaging.
You'll manage two direct reports while working closely with marketing, category, retail operations, creative teams and print suppliers to deliver high-quality POS across a large retail estate. Alongside the day-to-day delivery, you'll identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency and raise execution standards across stores.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own the end-to-end management of all in-store POS activity.
  • Brief creative teams and oversee artwork through to final sign-off.
  • Manage external print suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency and on-time delivery.
  • Build and manage store allocation lists, ensuring accurate distribution across the retail estate.
  • Support store openings, relocations and refurbishment projects.
  • Lead, coach and develop a small POS team.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing, category, retail operations and global stakeholders.
  • Conduct store audits and identify opportunities to improve execution and processes.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met across a busy retail calendar.
  • Drive continuous improvement, challenging existing ways of working and implementing better processes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
