Position: WOODWIND REPAIR TECHNICIAN (Full Time)

Role Description

Dawkes Music is looking for an experienced Woodwind Repair Technician to join the UK’s largest Repair Team.

The Repair Team is proudly the beating heart of our business. Since our beginnings in 1966 Dawkes Music have been highly respected for Repair expertise. We have a very busy, vibrant, and thriving department which is growing to meet the demands of increasing customer repairs and stock preparation.

A new addition to our team must be able to complete high quality work on a range of Woodwind instruments within a schedule and work pro-actively with others to achieve our collective responsibilities. Excellent customer service skills are also required as this role involves discussing repair solutions directly with end users, from new beginners to seasoned professionals.

Main Activities & Skills

  • Delivering consistently high-level Woodwind Repair solutions to customers' instruments
  • Ability to explain our Repair solutions to customers in a clear, patient, and informative manner
  • Preparing new and pre-owned stock for sale
  • Communicating between our Sales, Workshop and Logistics teams to complete daily tasks in a timely and professional manner

Key Information

  • Contract Type: Full Time
  • Working Hours: Monday-Saturday 09.30-17.30 (5 days a week)
  • Site Location: Reform Road, Maidenhead, SL6 8BT
  • Salary: Competitive & relevant to experience
