Stoke City Foundation, the official charitable arm of Stoke City Football Club, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Post 16 Education Coordinator. As a proud member of the English Football League, our Foundation is committed to transforming lives and strengthening communities across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire. This pivotal role, based at the bet365 Stadium, will be instrumental in shaping the future of our educational pathways.

Reporting to the Education Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing and coordinating the recruitment and engagement of young people across all Post 16 programmes, ensuring our educational opportunities align with the Foundation’s vision and mission.

The position will be offered on a part-time basis of 32 hours per week. The role is typically Monday to Friday; however, flexibility is required to support busier periods, including occasional evenings and weekends for events.

Main Responsibilities

  • Leading strategies to recruit and retain learners across all Post 16 pathways, including the Football Education Academy (FEA), degree programmes, and apprenticeships.
  • Driving marketing campaigns, school engagement, and careers fairs to raise awareness of our programmes.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with local education providers to create student placements and career opportunities.
  • Planning and delivering recruitment and development days for all Post 16 programmes.
  • Managing programme records, tracking learner progress, and overseeing work placements.
  • Providing delivery staff with up-to-date information to ensure consistent messaging and informed delivery.
  • Ensuring all activities adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, governance, and organisational policies.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
