About the Role
Our client, a well-established and reputable law firm based in North London, is seeking an experienced Post-Completions Assistant to join its busy Conveyancing department.
This is a key role within the team, offering an excellent opportunity for a conveyancing professional with strong post-completion experience to take ownership of their workload and further develop their expertise within a supportive and established firm.
The role is hybrid, with 1 day working from home each week.
Key Responsibilities
- Submitting SDLT returns and AP1 applications
- Preparing and finalising Stamp Duty Land Tax returns and Land Registry applications
- Managing post-completion formalities, including closing completed files
- Handling the discharge of registered charges
- Conducting legal research and producing reports and updates as required
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, lenders, and other relevant parties to ensure post-completion matters are progressed promptly
- Monitoring outstanding post-completion requirements and maintaining accurate records to ensure deadlines are met

Key Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in conveyancing, with strong post-completion experience (essential)
- A legal qualification is desirable but not essential
- Experience using legal case management systems and other legal software (essential)
- A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to prioritise a busy workload and work effectively to deadlines
