Role Description
This full-time, on-site Post Doctoral Researcher in Ultrasound Therapy and Imaging role is based in Glasgow. The researcher will conduct experimental and theoretical studies related to ultrasound-based therapeutic and imaging techniques, including designing and running laboratory experiments, collecting data, and performing quantitative analyses.

- Preparing manuscripts for publication
- Presenting findings at conferences and seminars
- Contributing to grant applications and project reports
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
- Supporting junior researchers and students in the laboratory
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and ethical research standards
Qualifications
- Strong Laboratory Skills and experience working with ultrasound equipment or related experimental setups.
- Demonstrated Research experience, including designing studies, reviewing literature, and disseminating findings.
- Solid foundation in Physics, particularly acoustics, medical physics, or a closely related discipline.
- Proficiency in Data Analysis, including statistical methods, image processing, and relevant software tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python, or similar).
- Teaching or mentoring experience, with the ability to support students and junior colleagues in research and laboratory work.
- PhD (or near completion) in Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, or a related field.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including scientific writing and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams and manage time and priorities across multiple projects.
