THE ROLE
The Post room Operative will work closely with the Front of House team, Building Management, Facilities, Security, Cleaning, Maintenance, and external delivery partners to ensure the post room and associated services operate smoothly, safely, and to a consistently high standard. This would be a 12 Month Contract.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Post room & Mail Management
- Receive, sort, process, and distribute incoming post, parcels, and deliveries accurately and efficiently
- Manage outgoing post, courier collections, and tenant mail requirements
- Ensure all mail and parcels are handled securely and in accordance with building procedures
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing deliveries where required
- Notify tenants promptly of deliveries, collections, and items requiring attention
- Manage the movement of large, urgent, or specialist deliveries in coordination with relevant teams

Tenant & Customer Service
- Provide a professional, helpful, and approachable service to tenants and building users
- Respond promptly and professionally to post room and delivery-related queries
- Assist tenants with specific delivery requirements and provide clear information on post room procedures
- Handle issues or complaints appropriately, escalating where necessary
Tenant Experience & Building Presentation
- Help create a positive experience for tenants through a reliable, efficient, and well-presented post room service
- Take pride in maintaining high standards of organisation and presentation within the post room and delivery areas
- Support the wider team in delivering the standards and values expected across the building
- Act as a positive ambassador for TSP through professionalism, presence, and attention to detail
Administration
- Maintain accurate delivery, collection, and post room records
- Complete daily logs, reports, and handover information as required
- Monitor and manage post room supplies and equipment
- Assist with tenant communications relating to deliveries, post room procedures, and building services
- Maintain appropriate documentation and operational procedures
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Building Management or Facilities team when required
