Are you a highly organised and reliable Post Room Officer looking for an opportunity in a prestigious corporate environment?

If you take pride in delivering an efficient mailroom service, have excellent attention to detail, and can confidently manage incoming and outgoing post while providing excellent customer service, we would love to hear from you.

Position: Post Room Officer

Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday

Hours: 07:00 – 19:00

Location: London EC4A 2BJ

Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and parcels accurately and efficiently
  • Prepare and dispatch outgoing mail, courier deliveries, and recorded items in line with company procedures
  • Manage courier bookings and liaise with external delivery providers
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and tracked items
  • Provide a professional and efficient service to tenants, visitors, and colleagues
  • Ensure the post room is organised, secure, and maintained to a high standard
  • Monitor stock levels of mailing and packaging supplies, reporting replenishment requirements
  • Handle confidential and sensitive correspondence with discretion
  • Support Health & Safety compliance within the post room
  • Carry out any additional duties as required by the company

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Previous experience working within a post room, mailroom, logistics, or corporate support environment
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident, reliable, and customer-focused at all times
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work efficiently in a busy environment
  • Basic IT skills and experience using Microsoft Office applications are desirable
