Caventor Capital is a global agency broker and a subsidiary of BGC Group. With a single onboarding process, clients can access all of Caventor Capital’s extensive trading relationships, comprising bank and non-bank liquidity. Acting as the intermediate trading party and also using prime broker processing for some of its asset classes, our clients can benefit from market anonymity. Buyer and seller names are not disclosed during any part of the price discovery and execution process.
Caventor Capital is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Post-Trade Associate. No prior experience is required, but any knowledge of interest rate swaps or bonds, including via qualifications like the CFA, would be helpful. Experience with coding in Python and use of AI is highly desirable. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and play a vital role in supporting Caventor’s global trading and execution operations.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
