Post Transaction Consultant

We are working with a leading UK pensions and investment consultancy, who is seeking an experienced Post Transaction profile to join its market-leading Pension Risk Transfer team.

This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of the UK de-risking market, supporting pension schemes through the critical period between buy-in and ultimate wind-up. You will work with trustees, sponsors, insurers, and advisers to deliver complex post-transaction projects and help clients achieve successful buy-out outcomes.

We are looking for individuals with strong pensions consulting, risk transfer, or insurer-side experience who enjoy combining technical expertise, project management, and stakeholder engagement to deliver excellent client outcomes.

Do you enjoy driving complex projects forward and finding pragmatic solutions to challenges?

Are you passionate about helping pension schemes successfully navigate the journey from transaction completion through to buy-out and wind-up?

Do you want to join one of the most established and respected post-transaction teams in the market?

If so, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.

The Organisation

Our client is an award-winning consultancy providing advice across pensions, investment, insurance, energy, health, sport, and analytics.

Its specialist Pension Risk Transfer practice is recognised as one of the most experienced de-risking teams in the UK market. As transaction volumes continue to grow, the firm has invested heavily in expanding its post-transaction capability, supporting schemes through every stage of the journey from buy-in to buy-out and eventual wind-up.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
