PhD Scientist / Postdoctoral Researcher, Genomics (Independent Contractor)
Labela connects PhD-level scientists with frontier AI research. We are sourcing genomics researchers with hands-on gene editing experience to evaluate AI-generated scientific outputs as part of an ongoing benchmarking initiative with leading AI labs.
This is a flexible, remote engagement designed to fit around your existing research schedule.
What You'll Do
- Review AI-generated responses to genomics and gene editing scenarios and score them using structured rubrics. Tasks include evaluating experimental design, CRISPR methodology, sequencing analysis, cell culture protocols, and biological pathway reasoning.
- You assess the quality of scientific reasoning. We handle platform, payments, and project logistics.

What We're Looking For
- PhD or current Postdoc in Genomics, Molecular Biology, or related field
- Hands-on experience with gene editing (CRISPR or equivalent), mammalian cell culture, and validation techniques
- Strong background in sequencing analysis and core life-science pathways
- Self-directed, comfortable working independently

Compensation
$100 to $150/hr USD

Who This Is Not For
