Role Overview
Play a key role in supporting financial governance and operational performance by delivering accurate reporting, robust financial controls and insightful analysis.
Reporting to the Plant Lead, Finance, you'll work closely with site and central finance teams to ensure the accuracy of financial information, maintain strong balance sheet control and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking to develop their career within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with study support available to support your ongoing professional development.
Key Duties
- Prepare accurate and timely month-end reports, including accruals and prepayments.
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure outstanding items are resolved promptly.
- Partner with Central Finance teams to understand, analyse and report financial performance.
- Produce periodic Plant Finance continuous improvement reporting.
- Support the reduction of parked invoices and outstanding DMS cases in partnership with relevant teams.
- Ensure weekly reporting submissions, including working capital and inventory reporting, are accurate and delivered on time.
- Maintain strong financial controls and support compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting and efficiency.

Ideal Candidate
- An organised and detail-oriented finance professional with experience in financial reporting, reconciliations or management accounting activities.
- Knowledgeable in month-end processes, financial controls and balance sheet management.
- A confident communicator who can build effective relationships across finance and operational teams.
- Comfortable analysing financial information and presenting clear insights.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
- Proactive in identifying issues and implementing practical solutions.
- Committed to accuracy, continuous improvement and high standards of financial governance.
- Studying towards, or interested in pursuing, a professional finance qualification would be advantageous.
