πŸ’· Salary: Β£29,047.20 per year

πŸ“… Pay: Paid monthly on the 25th of each month

πŸ•’ Contract: Full-Time (42 hours per week)

πŸ“… Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday

🌱 About the Role

As a Cell Leader, you'll play a key role in leading and supporting the Pot Packing team to ensure products are packed safely, efficiently, and to customer specifications.

You'll step up to cover Team Leader responsibilities during holidays and absences, support the development of team members, and help drive performance, quality, food safety, and continuous improvement across the packhouse.

πŸ”Ή What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading and motivating a small production team
  • Supporting the Team Leader and covering their duties when required
  • Ensuring orders are packed accurately and delivered on time
  • Training and developing team members, including agency staff
  • Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, quality, and Health & Safety
  • Supporting Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement projects
  • Monitoring production targets, waste, and efficiencies
  • Completing and maintaining accurate production records
  • Ensuring SOPs, HACCP, COSHH, and company procedures are followed
  • Leading by example and promoting Vitacress values

Essential

  • Previous manufacturing experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others
  • Flexible approach and willingness to learn
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork

Desirable

  • Previous supervisory or team-leading experience
  • Food manufacturing or fresh produce experience
  • First Aid qualification
