The Role
As a Poultry Equipment Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing poultry equipment to the highest standards. The role involves regular travel and working away from home when required.
Your duties will include:
- Installing Nest Boxes poultry feeding, drinking, ventilation, and housing systems.
- Reading and following installation drawings and specifications.
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Carrying out maintenance and repairs on existing equipment.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Working closely with colleagues and customers on site.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional working environment.
Requirements
Essential:

- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work at height and in agricultural environments.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK and stay away from home when required.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Desirable:
- Experience installing poultry or agricultural equipment.
- Telehandler or forklift experience.
- Electrical or fabrication experience.
