About The Role
ISQ Recruitment is supporting a well-established poultry business with the recruitment of a Poultry Farm Worker to join one of their breeder farms in the Harleston area.
This is a practical, hands-on role focused on the day-to-day care of poultry, maintaining high standards of bird welfare and helping to keep the farm clean, safe and running efficiently.
Previous poultry or farming experience is not essential, as full training will be provided. What matters most is reliability, a good work ethic and a genuine interest in working with animals.

- Carrying out regular bird checks and supporting high standards of welfare
- Feeding birds and monitoring their general health and condition
- Preparing poultry sheds for new bird arrivals
- Spreading shavings and managing litter within the sheds
- Keeping poultry houses, control rooms and external farm areas clean and tidy
- Supporting general farm maintenance and day-to-day practical tasks
- Assisting with bird movements and preparation for collection
- Following strict hygiene and biosecurity procedures
- Using appropriate PPE and following site Health & Safety procedures
- Working closely with the Farm Manager and wider farm team
The Ideal Candidate
Our Client Is Looking For Someone Who Is
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Interested in poultry farming and animal welfare
- Comfortable with practical, hands-on work
- Happy working around livestock
- Able to work well as part of a small farm team
- Flexible and comfortable working weekends as part of the rota
- Willing to learn and take on a variety of farm duties
- Able to commute independently to a rural location
