The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Power Apps Developer to join our client's technology team and play a key role in developing and enhancing business applications across our Microsoft technology landscape.
Working with the Dynamics 365 Sales platform, you will be responsible for turning business requirements into practical, scalable applications using the Microsoft Power Platform. You will work directly with stakeholders and end users, taking ownership from initial requirements gathering and solution design through to development, testing, deployment and ongoing improvement.
This is an excellent opportunity for a developer who enjoys working closely with the business and wants to have a tangible impact on how technology is used to improve processes and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop bespoke business applications using Microsoft Power Apps, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable and aligned with business requirements.
- Engage with business users and key stakeholders to understand challenges, gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Build integrations between Power Apps and the wider Microsoft ecosystem, including Power Automate, SharePoint and Dynamics 365.
- Develop and implement workflow and automation solutions that improve efficiency and reduce manual processes.
- Take ownership of application testing, troubleshooting and optimisation to ensure a high level of reliability, performance and usability.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance across the existing Power Apps estate, implementing enhancements where required.
- Produce clear technical documentation and process guides to support application adoption and future development.
- Assist with the training and onboarding of users when new applications or functionality are introduced.
- Keep up to date with developments across the Microsoft Power Platform and proactively identify opportunities to improve existing solutions.
- Work collaboratively with the wider IT team to ensure applications are delivered in line with appropriate technical and business standards.

Essential Experience
- Proven commercial experience developing and delivering Microsoft Power Apps solutions.
- Strong understanding of the wider Power Platform, particularly Power Automate and SharePoint.
- Experience integrating Power Apps with Dynamics 365 or other Microsoft business applications.
- Strong ability to understand business requirements and convert them into practical, user-focused technical solutions.
- Experience troubleshooting, maintaining and improving business-critical applications.
- Comfortable working directly with non-technical stakeholders and communicating technical concepts clearly.
- Experience producing application documentation and supporting users with new functionality.
- A proactive approach to technology, with an interest in keeping up with the latest Power Platform capabilities and identifying areas for improvement.

Desirable Experience
- Exposure to Azure and/or the underlying infrastructure supporting the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Previous experience working with Dynamics 365 Sales.
- Experience within wealth management, financial services or a similarly regulated environment.
- Experience working across multiple business applications and integrating different Microsoft technologies.
