Power BI Analyst at Business Stream

As a Power BI Analyst at Business Stream, you’ll use data and insight to help our customers use water more efficiently and support the growth of our Intelligent Water Management and Solutions services. Working closely with our Solutions, Sales and Marketing teams, you’ll analyse water consumption data from multiple sources to identify efficiency opportunities, high or unusual usage, and potential leaks.

You’ll turn your findings into clear, practical recommendations that support customer conversations, proposals, and remedial activity, including water audits, high-consumption investigations, and leakage detection. You’ll also develop and improve Power BI dashboards, work with Account Managers and customers on water efficiency programmes across complex, multi-site portfolios, and help colleagues make confident, data-led decisions through effective reporting and data storytelling.

This role is offered on a 12-month fixed-term basis to provide maternity cover.

About You

You’ll be an analytical and solutions-focused communicator who can make complex data easy to understand. You’ll enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues and customers, turning requirements into useful reporting and actionable recommendations, while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy, continuous improvement, and delivery.

Qualifications

  • GCSEs, Standard Grades, or an equivalent level of qualification.
  • An intermediate understanding of databases such as SQL Server or Oracle.
  • An understanding of Microsoft Fabric, SharePoint, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of reporting and data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Business Objects, or Tableau.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
