Areti are looking for a Power BI Consultant to join a growing team focused on helping businesses unlock the full value of their data.
We're seeking someone who can sit between technical delivery and business stakeholders, turning complex, fragmented data into clear insights that drive better decisions. This is not about building dashboards in isolation; it's about understanding how a business operates and delivering reporting solutions that people genuinely use.
Many organisations have valuable data spread across multiple systems. Finance lives in one platform, operations in another, and critical information often sits across multiple applications and databases.
Your role will be to connect those dots…
The Role
You'll lead the development of data visualisation, modelling, and reporting solutions that bring together data from ERP, financial, operational, and third-party systems into a single source of truth.

Working closely with stakeholders, you'll identify reporting requirements, build scalable data models, and create intuitive Power BI dashboards that enable faster, more confident decision-making.
You'll help organisations move beyond static reporting by delivering frameworks that reflect how a business actually operates, not simply how systems are structured.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Build robust and scalable data models.
- Integrate data from multiple business systems and sources.
- Gather and translate business requirements into reporting solutions.
- Work closely with stakeholders across finance, operations and leadership teams.
- Develop reporting frameworks and KPI dashboards.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency and governance across reporting environments.
- Promote best practices in data visualisation and business intelligence.
- Deliver actionable insights that support business growth and operational performance.

Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience with Power BI.
- Experience creating dashboards and reports that are intuitive and meaningful for end users.
- Strong understanding of data modelling, DAX and Power Query.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as Sage, Dynamics 365 or similar.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience integrating and consolidating data from multiple sources.
- Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and consultancy skills.
- A passion for turning data into business value.
Desirable
- Experience within SME environments.
- Microsoft Data Platform experience.
- Data warehousing experience.
- Azure data technologies.
- Business intelligence consultancy experience.
