Power BI Developer

We’re looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to design and deliver high-quality reporting and analytics solutions within a complex, data-driven environment.

You’ll work closely with technical specialists, business users and senior stakeholders to translate business requirements into clear, reliable dashboards and actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop dashboards, reports and analytical solutions using Microsoft Power BI
  • Build robust data models and semantic layers using appropriate star schemas, dimensions, fact tables and relationships
  • Develop complex DAX calculations, measures and reporting logic
  • Transform and prepare data using Power Query
  • Integrate data from Dataverse, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, SQL databases and other sources
  • Produce engaging, accessible reporting for a range of business audiences
  • Administer, support and maintain solutions within the Power BI Service
  • Help improve reporting governance, data quality and visualisation standards
  • Manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work within agreed timescales

Essential Experience

  • Microsoft Power BI
  • Dataverse, Dynamics 365 and Power Platform data sources
  • Advanced DAX and Power Query skills
  • SQL and relational databases
  • Dimensional modelling and star-schema principles
  • Experience delivering reporting solutions for varied business audiences
  • Good knowledge of dashboard design and data-visualisation best practice
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into effective technical solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence collaborating with technical teams, business users and senior stakeholders
