About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team at Alois Technologies Limited. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing advanced business intelligence solutions that support our clients' operational and strategic needs. This role requires a deep understanding of data modeling, report development, and analytics, particularly within the context of customer service and contact center environments. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate complex service operations data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making and performance enhancements.
Qualifications
- Applicants should possess a strong background in Power BI development, with proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling techniques such as star schema design.
- Experience working with Dynamics 365 or Dataverse is essential, including understanding tables, relationships, option sets, and custom entities.
- Candidates should have a proven track record of delivering reports and dashboards for customer service or contact center functions, including metrics related to cases, queues, SLAs, agent performance, and call statistics.
- A solid grasp of data extraction and refresh patterns from Dataverse, utilizing connectors, TDS, Synapse Link, or Fabric, is required.
- Additionally, familiarity with implementing row-level security (RLS), governance frameworks, and performance optimization strategies is important.
- Strong analytical and communication skills are necessary to effectively translate service operations requirements into clear KPIs, definitions, and user-friendly dashboards.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards tailored to customer service and contact center metrics, ensuring they meet client requirements for clarity, performance, and usability.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand operational KPIs, and translate them into technical specifications for reporting solutions.
- Implement and manage data models using star schema design principles to ensure efficient data processing and analysis.
- Extract, transform, and load data from Dynamics 365 / Dataverse environments, employing best practices for data refresh patterns and shaping data for analytics purposes.
- Apply row-level security (RLS), governance policies, and performance tuning techniques to optimize report responsiveness and data security.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate Power BI solutions with other platforms within the Power Platform ecosystem, such as Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Assist in establishing data governance standards, documentation, and version control practices, including ALM/DevOps pipelines for Power BI development.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to analytics, reporting, and data management, recommending improvements and innovative solutions.
- Support scalable analytics patterns using Fabric, Synapse, Data Lake, or similar platforms to enable comprehensive historical reporting and data warehousing.
