POWER BI DEVELOPER

£275-300 per day | Outside IR35 | 4 Days Per Week | Hybrid London (occasional travel) | Until December 2026

THE COMPANY

An established digital marketing and analytics consultancy is looking for a skilled Power BI Developer to support the delivery of a large-scale marketing attribution programme for a major enterprise client. You'll join a collaborative analytics team working across data engineering, reporting and insight functions to build impactful reporting solutions used by senior stakeholders.

THE ROLE

As a Power BI Developer, you will take ownership of the reporting layer within a cloud-based analytics environment. Working closely with both client stakeholders and technical teams, you'll design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards that provide actionable insight into marketing performance.

This is a hands-on delivery role requiring strong stakeholder engagement, data modelling expertise and the ability to turn complex requirements into intuitive reporting solutions.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gather and define reporting requirements with senior business stakeholders
  • Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports
  • Build robust data models using DAX and Power Query
  • Connect Power BI to cloud-based data platforms, primarily BigQuery
  • Work alongside data engineering teams to ensure reporting requirements are met
  • Deliver meaningful insights that support business decision-making
  • Produce clear documentation to support knowledge transfer and future handover
  • Collaborate across UK-based and international teams

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Strong Power BI development experience
  • Advanced DAX, Power Query and data modelling skills
  • Experience working with cloud data platforms such as GCP and BigQuery
  • Strong stakeholder management and requirements gathering experience
  • Ability to translate data into clear business insights
  • Experience working within cross-functional delivery teams
  • Strong documentation and communication skills

NICE TO HAVE

  • Marketing analytics, measurement or attribution experience
  • SQL and BigQuery expertise
  • Exposure to dbt or similar transformation tools
  • Agency or consultancy experience
