Power BI Developer -DAX
Our client, a growing consultancy, is looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to support the delivery of people analytics and reporting solutions for a major end client with approximately 3,000 employees.
Working closely with business stakeholders, you will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports that provide meaningful insights across the organisation. The role will involve rebuilding legacy dashboards, developing new reporting capabilities, and ensuring data is accessible, secure and actionable. This opportunity would suit someone with strong Power BI development skills and experience working with HR/People data, ideally within a SuccessFactors environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
- Rebuild and republish existing dashboards while creating new reporting capabilities.
- Develop robust and scalable data models to support business reporting requirements.
- Create advanced calculations, measures and KPIs using DAX.
- Build and optimise data transformation processes using Power Query (M).
- Extract, cleanse and integrate data from multiple sources, including SAP SuccessFactors.
- Implement and maintain Row Level Security (RLS) to ensure appropriate data access.
- Work directly with business and HR stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver reporting solutions.
- Develop automated reporting and data distribution processes using Power Automate and SharePoint.
- Ensure reporting solutions are accurate, performant and aligned with business objectives.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience developing and delivering Power BI reporting solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI development, rather than Power BI administration or platform configuration.
- Advanced knowledge of DAX.
- Strong experience using Power Query (M).
- Experience building and maintaining Power BI data models.
- Experience implementing Row Level Security (RLS).
- Strong stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into insightful dashboards and reports.

- Experience working with People Analytics / HR Data.

- Experience extracting data via SuccessFactors Integration Centre.
