Role Summary

Join London Stock Exchange Group's (LSEG) Group Investment Management Tooling and Data team to improve how we understand investment spend, portfolio performance and delivery outcomes. We build trusted reporting and reusable data foundations that support informed decisions and reduce manual reporting.

We are recruiting Power BI developers and a hands-on Data, AI & Insights manager. Developers build and support reporting products. The manager combines team leadership with ownership of data architecture, design standards and testing strategy. Responsibilities and requirements apply to the relevant opportunity.

What you'll be doing

Power BI development

  • Design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards and semantic models, including enhancements, defect fixes and ongoing production support.
  • Turn ambiguous needs into requirements, prototypes and reporting; use feedback and outcome measures to improve user adoption.
  • Develop and optimise DAX calculations, Power Query transformations and SQL Server data connections; improve model efficiency, refresh reliability and dashboard usability.
  • Replace manual spreadsheet reporting with scalable, refreshable solutions; reconcile data, investigate quality issues and resolve root causes with data owners.
  • Apply reusable design, access-control and testing standards; contribute to Agile delivery, peer reviews, releases and clear technical and user documentation.

Management and data architecture

  • Lead, coach and manage the team, prioritise delivery and develop capability while personally contributing to design, problem-solving and delivery.
  • Own data architecture for governed, reusable, AI-ready data foundations supporting reporting and future AI use cases.
  • Establish design standards and testing strategy across the reporting and data portfolio; guide Agile delivery, assure quality and work with stakeholders to improve investment and transformation insights.

What you'll bring

Across all opportunities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn business needs into practical, maintainable solutions.
  • Experience of Agile delivery, design standards and quality assurance, supported by clear documentation and effective stakeholder communication.
  • A hands-on approach, ownership of outcomes and effective collaboration across business and technical teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
