Power BI Engineer
Location: London
Contract Type: Hybrid
Rate: Inside IR35 up to £575 Per Day
I’m supporting a leading consultancy on a major Credit Risk transformation programme with a financial services client, looking for a Power BI Engineer with strong Snowflake cloud platform experience to deliver high-quality, data-driven reporting solutions.
What we’re looking for
The right Power BI Engineer should have:
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (dashboards, DAX, Power Query, data modelling)
- Proven experience working with the Snowflake cloud platform
- Experience integrating Power BI with Snowflake as a primary data source
- Strong understanding of semantic models, analytics layers, and large datasets
- Experience implementing data governance and security (e.g., Row-Level Security)
- Ability to optimise performance across reports, models, and refresh strategies
- Confident working with both technical teams and business stakeholders
- Experience within financial services or risk reporting (desirable)
