Power BI Engineer

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Power BI Engineer.

This role will be Inside of IR35, so you will be required to use an FCSA Accredited Umbrella Company.

Key Requirements:

  • Administer and maintain the Power BI Service, Workspaces, Apps, and Dataflows.
  • Manage tenant settings, user access, workspace permissions, and security controls.
  • Enforce Power BI governance standards, compliance requirements, and reporting certification processes.
  • Monitor platform health, capacity utilization, refresh schedules, usage metrics, and audit logs.
  • Manage gateways, data source connectivity, and troubleshoot performance and refresh issues.
  • Maintain documentation and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure platform adoption and best practices.

  • Strong knowledge of Power BI Service administration and governance for both Cloud and Reporting Server.
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), access management, and security configuration.
  • Knowledge of enterprise governance, compliance, and audit requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
