Make an Impact at RSM UK
At RSM, our consulting team brings together diverse advisory experts to deliver our six core solutions: business transformation, forensic, deal services, restructuring, finance function support, and risk and governance.
Our solutions are designed to address the unique needs, challenges, and opportunities our clients face as they strive to achieve their aspirations and organisational goals. Whether it’s supporting global expansion, developing acquisition strategies, facilitating private equity investments, or collaborating with boards to manage risk and governance, our consulting experts work as one cohesive team. We prioritise simplicity, providing data-driven insights, value-added assurance, and high-quality execution to empower our clients in building sustainable, future-fit businesses.
It’s an exciting time to join our consulting team, as we embark on ambitious growth plans that promise to create diverse career opportunities. We are committed to enhancing our six solutions, expanding and developing our team of expert consultants, embracing a digital-first approach, strengthening our global presence, and building strong client relationships.
About the Role
As part of the team, you will be working closely with clients, and it is therefore critical that you can establish trust and credibility quickly to build effective relationships.
It goes without saying that you are a team player, have a ‘can do’ attitude and understand that the best solutions come from collaboration and exchange of ideas.
You will be a problem solver, creative thinker, and self-starter, who is organised, proactive and inquisitive. Ideally you will already have been involved in Transformation projects and can demonstrate the value delivered to organisations with which you’ve worked. You should be comfortable managing day-to-day delivery, supervising junior team members and juggling multiple deadlines.
You will contribute to client proposals and presentations, and our clients will see you as a trusted advisor to work closely with them in identifying, analysing, and solving their business challenges.
In exchange, we offer exciting client opportunities, a clear and concise career development path, and promotion opportunities for those with the drive and the commitment to succeed in a dynamic environment, whilst delivering exceptional service to clients and becoming part of a high performing team.
You will make an impact by
- Managing the day-to-day delivery of Power BI and analytics engagements, owning quality, timelines and budget, and flagging risks early.
- Designing and building high-quality Power BI solutions: robust data models, advanced DAX, Power Query transformations and clear, intuitive dashboards.
- Working closely with client stakeholders to understand their reporting needs, running requirements workshops and translating business questions into trusted insight.
- Setting the technical standard for Power BI across the team through reviews, reusable templates and good practice on modelling, performance, security and governance.
- Contributing to business development: supporting proposals, scoping work and helping to shape propositions such as dashboard-to-market offerings and deals analytics.
- Supervising, coaching and developing consultants and analysts, and building Power BI capability across the wider team.
- Applying the principle that data foundations and operating model design precede tooling, so that what we build is trusted and sustainable.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
