Power BI and Reporting Specialist
Andover | Hybrid working: 3 days office based, 2 days home based with flexibility to attend the office when required, and travel to other Pure UK locations | 37.5 hours | £55,000 to £62,000 DOE
We’re looking for a hands-on Power BI specialist who can go beyond building dashboards.
This is an opportunity to shape how reporting is developed and used across Pure, helping us turn complex operational data into clear, trusted insight that supports better decisions.
Initially, you’ll work across our At Need services, including Private Ambulance Crew, Scheduling, Customer Care, Mortuary and Crematoria. You’ll get close to how these teams operate, understand what leaders and colleagues genuinely need from their reporting, and turn those requirements into effective Power BI solutions.
As the role develops, your work will expand into Finance and other head office functions.
What you’ll be doing
- Working with stakeholders to uncover their real reporting needs and define meaningful measures and KPIs
- Designing, building, testing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, reports and semantic models
- Using Dynamics 365, SQL, internal data warehouses and other sources to bring data together
- Creating robust DAX measures and Power Query transformations
- Designing clear, accessible reporting for both operational teams and senior leaders
- Improving reporting consistency, data quality and governance
- Reducing manual reporting and reliance on disconnected spreadsheets
- Helping colleagues understand, trust and confidently use the insight available to them
What we’re looking for
You’ll have strong hands-on experience delivering end-to-end Power BI solutions, supported by practical knowledge of Dynamics 365, SQL, DAX, Power Query and data modelling.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Just as importantly, you’ll be naturally inquisitive and comfortable asking questions. You’ll be able to work through an initial request, understand the underlying business need and constructively challenge measures that are unclear, duplicated or unlikely to lead to meaningful action.
You’ll also be:
- A clear and confident communicator, able to explain technical choices to non-technical audiences
- Comfortable working directly with stakeholders to define requirements
- Commercially and operationally aware
- Methodical, pragmatic and focused on data quality
- Able to bring structure to evolving or sometimes ambiguous priorities
- Collaborative in your approach - you’ll build reporting with people, not at them
Experience of Microsoft Fabric, Azure data services, Dataverse, data warehousing or deployment pipelines would be useful, but isn’t essential.
