Power Control Specialist
Location: The United Kingdom
Responsibilities:
- Real-time monitoring and control of generation & transmission assets.
- SCADA alarm handling and escalation.
- HV control activities up to 66kV.
- Coordination with TSO / DNO / OFTO and O&M stakeholders.
- Supporting safe switching, outages, and maintenance activities.
- REMIT operational notification

Requirements:

- Real-time SCADA operational experience.
- Electrical / power generation / transmission / utilities background.
- Power Control Room experience preferred.
- HV Control Engineer experience advantageous.
- AP / SAP experience advantageous.
- Knowledge of WTG / power park control.
- Experience with alarms, outages, and operational incidents.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety and operational procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and fluent English.
- Electrical qualification - City & Guilds / ONC / HNC / Degree
