Power & Gas Quantitative Researcher

Location: London

We are working with a leading global renewable energy and trading company with a major presence across international power and gas markets. They combine deep fundamental market expertise with sophisticated quantitative research, systematic trading, and proprietary technology.

They are looking for a Quantitative Researcher to develop forecasting models and systematic strategies across power and gas markets.

  • Developing quantitative and statistical models for power and gas
  • Researching trading signals and systematic strategies
  • Working with large datasets including weather, generation, demand, and market data
  • Collaborating closely with experienced traders and fundamental analysts
  • Applying machine learning and advanced modelling techniques to real-world energy markets
