Position Summary
The Power Infrastructure Product Manager EMEA owns the product and solutions roadmap for power infrastructure serving the data center industry. This role consolidates Voice of Customer data, translates it into market-driven requirements, and defines the value proposition for complex manufactured solutions spanning uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and medium/low voltage (MV & LV) power distribution. The Product Manager collaborates cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, sales, and services teams to ensure offerings meet evolving market needs, while serving as the subject matter expert for Power Infrastructure Solutions across executive, marketing, and sales stakeholders. This position directly shapes Vertiv competitive positioning in the EMEA data center power market, influencing product-market fit and revenue growth across the region.
Responsibilities
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Analyze Voice of Customer data and translate insights into actionable product proposals and
- Analyze competitor products — document strengths, deficiencies, and positioning gaps
- Gather and consolidate market intelligence through Sales, Technical Sales, and Solution Architects
- Monitor emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory shifts relevant to power infrastructure
Product Development & Execution
- Define product/solution requirements and maintain the product roadmap
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technology into the offering
- Analyze cost structures and propose design or sourcing improvements
- Interface with other product and engineering teams to coordinate integration with hardware/software solutions
Go-to-Market & Enablement
- Define and articulate the value proposition for each product/solution
- Work with Product Marketing on brochures, presentations, white papers, application notes, case studies, articles, and videos
- Lead product launch preparation and execution
- Provide training to sales, services, and other relevant stakeholders

Customer & Sales Support
- Define, develop, and administer customer-facing product evaluation programs
- Support Solution Architects and Application Engineers with new technologies proposals and technical studies
- Provide on-site critical customer consultations when required
- Engage with Services team to define and implement the Power Solutions service offering
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s or higher Degree in Electrical engineering
- Experience in LV (low voltage) and/or MV (medium voltage) system design and applications
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience in power infrastructure or data center environments
- Experience in Data center design, build, commissioning or maintenance
- Technical expertise to translate customer needs/pain points to solutions
- Strong written/oral communication, especially in communicating customer needs and value propositions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Smartsheet, and other business applications
- Informative knowledge about CAD, BIM and CFD tools.
- Fluent in English
- Research and analytical skills
- Propensity for innovation
- Effectively communicates technical information and complex ideas to technically diverse audiences.
Plus
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or MBA
- Additional European language(s)
- Experience with product lifecycle methodologies
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
This is a hybrid/office-based role. Travel across EMEA is required for customer meetings, factory visits, conferences, and cross-functional workshops.
