Power Platform Developer

Location: North-West
Salary: Competitive

Think Power Platform is just drag-and-drop? This probably isn’t the role for you.

We’re looking for an experienced Power Platform Developer who has gone well beyond simple canvas apps and basic flows. You’ll be someone who enjoys getting into the technical detail, building robust solutions and making sure what you develop is scalable, maintainable and built properly.
This is an opportunity to work on complex, business-critical Power Platform solutions, combining low-code capabilities with traditional development, integrations and good engineering practices.

The role

You’ll be responsible for designing, developing and delivering solutions across the Microsoft Power Platform, working closely with technical and business teams to understand requirements and turn them into well-engineered solutions.

Your work will include:

  • Building complex model-driven and canvas applications
  • Designing scalable Dataverse data models
  • Developing custom connectors, PCF components and C# plugins
  • Creating Power Automate solutions with appropriate monitoring and error handling
  • Integrating Power Platform with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management and external services
  • Working with REST APIs and wider Microsoft technologies
  • Managing solutions, environments and deployment pipelines
  • Supporting ALM and CI/CD processes
  • Ensuring security, DLP and governance standards are followed
  • Troubleshooting and improving existing Power Platform solutions
  • Providing technical guidance and recommending the best approach to new requirements

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We’re not necessarily looking for someone who can tick every box.
What’s more important is that you’re technically curious, comfortable solving complex problems and understand the difference between getting something to work and engineering something properly.
You’ll be able to work with people across the business, challenge requirements where necessary and explain your thinking without drowning people in technical jargon.
If you’re an experienced Power Platform Developer in the North-West and you’re ready for your next challenge, we’d love to hear from you.
