Power Platform Developer
Are you an experienced Power Platform Developer looking to play a key role in a large-scale digital transformation programme?
We're working with a major utilities organisation that is investing heavily in modern Microsoft technologies and seeking a talented developer to design, build and enhance business-critical applications using the Microsoft Power Platform. This is an opportunity to work on solutions that support operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and the organisation's ongoing technology and innovation strategy.
The Role
As a Power Platform Developer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining enterprise-grade applications using Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse. You'll work closely with business stakeholders, product teams and technical specialists to deliver intuitive, scalable and secure solutions that improve business processes and user experiences. You'll be involved throughout the full development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and prototyping through to deployment, support and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Power Platform solutions using Power Apps, Dataverse and Power Automate
- Design responsive, user-friendly applications for desktop, tablet and mobile users
- Integrate applications with APIs, enterprise systems and approved data sources
- Support application lifecycle management, deployment and ongoing enhancements
- Implement best practices around governance, security, testing and code quality
- Utilise Azure DevOps, Git and CI/CD pipelines to support development and deployment
- Work collaboratively within Agile delivery teams
- Contribute to reusable components, templates and development standards
- Drive continuous improvement and user adoption across delivered solutions

Requirements
Essential
- Commercial experience developing applications with Microsoft Power Platform
- Strong experience with Power Apps, Dataverse and Power Automate
- Experience integrating applications with APIs and enterprise systems
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Git and CI/CD practices
- Experience working within Agile environments
- Understanding of application security, governance and best practices
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Desirable
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services
- Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric
- Exposure to Microsoft Copilot and AI Builder
- Power Platform or Azure certifications
- Experience with automated testing and DevOps practices
