PE Global is currently recruiting for an experienced Power Platform & Fabric Solutions Developer to join our global engineering and manufacturing client based in Larne, Northern Ireland. The role is an initial 12-month contract and the rate for this role is between £34.58 and £46.94 p/hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Power BI semantic models, DAX measures, reports and governed workspaces.
- Build and manage Microsoft Fabric artefacts including Lakehouses, Warehouses, Dataflows Gen2, notebooks and pipelines.
- Design and develop Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules and security roles.
- Build Canvas Apps and Model-driven Apps for enterprise business processes.
- Develop Power Automate cloud flows and, where required, desktop/RPA solutions.
- Design and deploy Copilot Studio agents, including topics, generative answers, actions and connected knowledge sources.
- Implement Power Platform solution ALM, environment strategy, governance and deployment pipelines.
- Apply enterprise governance, DLP and Entra ID-based security practices.
- Collaborate with technical teams, analysts and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
- Support documentation, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the Power Platform environment.

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience delivering enterprise solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and Power BI.
- Expert-level experience with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, including semantic modelling, DAX and Fabric data management.
- Strong hands-on experience with Dataverse, Canvas Apps and Model-driven Apps.
- Advanced experience with Power Automate, including integrations, error handling and custom connectors.
- Recent practical experience with Copilot Studio, including agents, generative answers, actions and agentic workflows.
- Strong understanding of Power Platform solution ALM, environment strategy, governance and DLP.
- Experience with Entra ID-based security and access management.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving and collaboration skills.
- Experience with SQL/Snowflake, Azure DevOps/GitHub, PAC CLI, PowerShell, CI/CD or RPA would be advantageous.
- Microsoft certifications such as PL-400, PL-600, DP-600 or DP-700 would be beneficial.
- Candidates must be willing to work from the Larne, Northern Ireland office, with occasional UK/EU travel as required.
