Power Platform Developer - Fabric
Location: Larne, Northern Ireland
Duration: 12 Months Initial Contract
Rate: £45.20
We are seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer with experience in Fabric Solutions to join a growing analytics and transformation team, delivering enterprise-grade solutions across Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI.
This role will play a key part in expanding business intelligence, analytics, application development, and process automation capabilities. Working closely with stakeholders, you will design, develop, and maintain solutions that drive operational improvements and support data-driven decision making.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Proven experience designing, developing, and supporting solutions across the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem, including Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps), Power Automate, and Dataverse.
- Strong background delivering business intelligence, reporting, and analytics solutions, including the creation of semantic models, dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Experience building and maintaining Microsoft Fabric solutions, including Lakehouses, Warehouses, Dataflows, Pipelines, and data transformation processes.
- Experience developing Power Apps solutions, implementing Dataverse data models, security frameworks, business rules, and governance controls.
- Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M), application lifecycle management (ALM), deployment pipelines, and solution governance.
- Experience working closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and quickly become productive in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Requirements:
- Experience with Copilot Studio and AI-powered business solutions.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID security and governance.
- Experience with Snowflake and SQL.
- Experience with Power Automate Desktop and RPA solutions.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub, CI/CD practices, PowerShell, or PAC CLI.
- Knowledge of generative AI, prompt engineering, and responsible AI practices.
- Microsoft certifications such as: PL-400, PL-600, DP-600 / DP-700 & Power BI Certifications.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
