Power Platform Developer – Outside IR35
We’re looking for an experienced Power Platform Developer to join a product team delivering a new enterprise solution. You’ll work across the full delivery lifecycle, helping shape the technical approach rather than simply developing against predefined requirements, with responsibility spanning discovery, design, development, testing and release.
The Role
You’ll work closely with Product, UX, Architecture, Security and business stakeholders to understand user and business needs, assess technical feasibility and deliver secure, scalable and maintainable solutions across the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse and SharePoint Online
- Work with product and business stakeholders to clarify requirements, challenge assumptions and shape appropriate technical solutions
- Design and implement integrations across Microsoft 365, Entra ID and external APIs
- Prototype and evaluate technical approaches, contributing to solution and architecture reviews
- Own testing and defect resolution across development, integration, user validation and release
- Support CI/CD, deployment and release activities using GitHub Actions, producing clear technical documentation and handover materials
Essential
- Strong commercial experience delivering enterprise Microsoft Power Platform solutions
- Hands-on experience with Power Apps – Canvas and/or Model-Driven Apps
- Strong Power Automate, Dataverse and SharePoint Online experience
- Experience designing secure, maintainable solutions including appropriate security and governance
- Experience integrating Power Platform with Microsoft 365, Entra ID and APIs
- Strong understanding of testing, ALM and production deployment
- Comfortable working within Agile/product-led teams and contributing to discovery and solution design
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to constructively challenge technical and business requirements

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
