Power Platform Developer

Contract: 6 Months initial contract with potential for multiple extension
Location: Warwick (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Rate: £360 per day (Inside IR35)

We are seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer to join a major digital transformation programme for a leading UK organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in building a new Microsoft Power Platform solution that will support a critical Charging & Billing capability as part of a large-scale customer transformation initiative.

Working within an Agile delivery team, you will design, develop and implement scalable Power Platform solutions that improve data quality, support business-critical processes and integrate seamlessly with enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop solutions using Power Apps (Model-driven preferred), Power Automate and Dataverse.
  • Build scalable Dataverse data models supporting customers, charges, tariffs and billing transactions.
  • Develop business logic for charging rules, tariffs and billing calculations.
  • Build integrations with Dynamics 365 and other enterprise platforms using APIs, connectors and Azure integration services where appropriate.
  • Ensure high levels of data quality, governance, validation and auditability.
  • Support system integration testing, user acceptance testing and production deployments.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and contribute to continuous improvements.
  • Work closely with architects, product owners, data engineers and business stakeholders.
  • Produce technical documentation and contribute to Agile ceremonies and delivery.

Required Experience

  • 3–5+ years' experience developing solutions on Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • Power Apps (Model-driven preferred)
    • Power Automate
    • Dataverse
  • Experience developing enterprise applications with complex business logic.
  • Experience integrating applications using APIs, custom connectors and Azure services.
  • Strong understanding of relational data modelling and data quality principles.
  • Experience delivering large transformation or platform implementation programmes.

Desirable Experience

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Engagement/CRM)
  • Charging, billing or financial systems
  • Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions or Service Bus
  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications
  • Experience within regulated industries such as utilities or energy
  • Knowledge of data governance and data product concepts
