A leading professional services organisation is seeking a Power Platform Developer to join its growing technology team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development, enhancement and support of business-critical applications while helping to drive innovation through modern cloud and automation technologies.

The Role

You will work within a collaborative applications team, designing, developing and maintaining business solutions that improve operational efficiency and support strategic objectives. The role combines greenfield development, system enhancements, integrations and ongoing application support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing and maintaining business applications and workflows.
  • Gathering and analysing business requirements to deliver effective technical solutions.
  • Developing custom applications and automations using Microsoft technologies.
  • Integrating systems using APIs and web services.
  • Supporting application releases, upgrades and production deployments.
  • Creating technical documentation and solution designs.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving application issues.
  • Contributing to adoption of emerging technologies including AI, cloud services and low-code platforms.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Development experience with C#,.NET, ASP.NET and modern web technologies including JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server, database design and optimisation.
  • Experience with REST APIs, JSON and XML integrations.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and Git.
  • Experience with SharePoint Online development and integration.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience managing application deployments and production releases.

Desirable Experience

  • Microsoft Azure services including App Services, Functions and Azure SQL.
  • Azure AI and Cognitive Services.
  • Power BI or SSRS reporting.
  • ITIL processes and service management.
  • Experience supporting enterprise business applications within professional services environments.
