Role Description
This remote 3 month contract role involves working closely with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable applications, workflows, and integrations, ensuring security, compliance, and performance across client environments.
The Power Platform Engineer / Developer will design, develop, and maintain solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (primarily Power Apps and Power Automate) to support client technology strategies and business processes.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Configuring and optimising Power Platform components
- Integrating data sources
- Troubleshooting issues
- Documenting solutions and technical decisions
The engineer will collaborate with consultants and client teams to support secure product and platform delivery, participate in code reviews, contribute to best practices, and provide technical guidance on modernising systems and enabling growth.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate) and related Microsoft 365 / Azure services, including building production-ready applications and automated workflows.
- Proficiency in solution design and development, including data modeling, APIs and integrations, scripting or low-code customisation, and troubleshooting within cloud-based environments.
- Background in cloud and security practices, ideally with exposure to Azure, AWS, secure architecture principles, access control, and compliance-aware design.
- Consulting and stakeholder engagement skills, including requirements gathering, translating business needs into technical solutions, and clear documentation and communication.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage contract engagements, prioritise multiple client deliverables, and meet agreed timelines.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, or security-focused credentials) and experience working with SMEs or fast-growing businesses are beneficial.
