Senior Application Management & Support Engineer – Automation

💰 Up to £45,000

🚀 The Opportunity
A leading organisation in South Wales is looking for a Senior Application Management & Support Engineer to join its IT team.
This is a hands-on senior role combining application support, Microsoft Power Platform, automation, and technical leadership. You’ll help improve business processes, automate workflows, support critical applications, and drive continuous improvement across the organisation’s technology environment.
🔧 What you'll be doing
- Build and support solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse
- Develop integrations using Azure Logic Apps, Microsoft Graph, and cloud technologies
- Provide 2nd/3rd line application support and resolve complex technical issues
- Lead incident investigation and root cause analysis
- Manage application changes, releases, upgrades, and deployments
- Develop and execute functional and integration testing
- Build low-code solutions, scripts, and integrations
- Improve application support processes, procedures, and documentation
- Work with third-party suppliers and technology partners
- Support application security, licensing, backups, and disaster recovery
- Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members
