Power Platform Lead Engineer (12-Month Secondment)
You'll lead the development of innovative applications, automation, and digital capabilities that drive efficiency and deliver real value to operational and project teams—solving complex challenges with a forward-thinking mindset.
About the Role
Nationwide is seeking a passionate and experienced Power Platform Lead Engineer to shape and evolve the Remediation CoE Power Platform solutions. This senior role demands someone who thrives on solving intricate challenges, delivering scalable, business-aligned solutions, and innovating digital efficiencies.
The Purpose of the Remediation CoE
At Nationwide, we prioritise getting things right first time—but when an issue arises, we act swiftly and efficiently to ensure real-time correction for our customers. The Remediation Centre of Excellence (CoE) is a specialist cross-community capability dedicated to:
- Rapidly analysing data and processes
- Identifying emerging challenges and incidents
- Executing effective remediation strategies for impacted customers

The Power Platform Lead Engineer will leverage Microsoft’s Power Platform to automate, monitor, and enhance remediation workflows, ensuring proactive and data-driven resolutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and scaling of Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse) tailored to remediation and operational needs
- Collaborate with business teams to translate complex operational or project challenges into automated, digitised workflows
- Drive innovation, ensuring solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business goals
- Mentor technical teams involved in remediation-related automation
- Optimise existing Power Platform solutions to improve process speed and accuracy
- Ensure governance and best practices are maintained across solutions
About Nationwide
- Flexible working: A secondment opportunity with a 12-month mandate—applicants can explore hybrid or in-office arrangements (minimum two days per week at either our Swindon or Northampton office, unless an alternative is agreed).
