Power Platform Migration Consultant – Quest
Contract: 2 months initially
Rate: Competitive, depending on experience
IR35: Outside IR35
Location: Remote UK
Start: Immediate
We are currently looking for an experienced Power Platform Migration Consultant to support a tenant-to-tenant migration of Microsoft Power Platform environments.
The successful consultant will have strong hands-on experience across Power Platform and Microsoft 365, with proven experience using Quest migration tooling to plan, execute, and validate tenant-to-tenant migrations.
This is an immediate-start engagement for an initial 2-month contract, with the potential for extension depending on project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical delivery of a Power Platform tenant-to-tenant migration
- Use Quest migration tooling to support migration activities
- Assess and inventory existing Power Platform environments, applications, and dependencies
- Plan and execute migration activities across Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse
- Manage dependencies across connectors, service accounts, environments, permissions, and integrations
- Configure source and target environments and migration mappings
- Execute pilot and production migrations
- Troubleshoot migration issues and remediate failed or incomplete migrations
- Validate applications, workflows, data, and integrations following migration
- Support cutover activities and provide post-migration support
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure a controlled and successful migration

Required Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform
- Proven experience delivering tenant-to-tenant migrations
- Practical experience using Quest migration tools for Microsoft environments
- Strong knowledge of Power Apps and Power Automate
- Good understanding of Dataverse and associated data migration considerations
- Experience with Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migration projects
- Strong understanding of Entra ID, identities, permissions, and security
- Experience managing application, connector, and integration dependencies
- Strong troubleshooting and migration remediation skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the migration workstream

Desirable
- Experience with complex or enterprise-scale Power Platform migrations
- Experience migrating custom connectors and integrations
- Knowledge of Power Platform environments, solutions, and ALM
- Experience with Microsoft 365 / Azure tenant migrations
- Quest migration certifications or previous Quest-led migration projects
