Power Platform Technical Consultant
Salary: Up to £95,000
Location: UK-wide hybrid – multiple office locations
Security Clearance: Eligible for SC Clearance required
Nigel Frank International is supporting a leading global technology and business transformation consultancy as it continues to grow its Microsoft Power Platform practice.
This is an opportunity for a technically strong, client-facing Power Platform Consultant to deliver enterprise-scale solutions across a broad range of customer transformation programmes. You will combine hands-on development with solution design, stakeholder engagement and technical leadership, helping clients use the Microsoft ecosystem to modernise processes, improve data quality and deliver measurable outcomes.
The role
You will work with clients from discovery through to delivery, translating complex business requirements into scalable, secure and supportable Power Platform solutions.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading discovery sessions, requirements gathering and solution design with client stakeholders.
- Designing and developing both Canvas and Model-Driven Power Apps.
- Building robust Power Automate solutions and workflows.
- Developing and managing Dataverse data models, security and governance.
- Supporting integrations across Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure and wider enterprise systems.
- Advising clients on platform governance, ALM, security, adoption and best practice.
- Using Azure DevOps and CI/CD practices to support structured releases and high-quality delivery.
- Working within Agile delivery teams, contributing to technical design, estimations and continuous improvement.
- Building trusted client relationships and communicating technical decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Supporting and mentoring colleagues where appropriate.

What we’re looking for
- Strong commercial experience across Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse.
- Experience delivering both Canvas and Model-Driven applications in enterprise environments.
- Proven client-facing consultancy experience, with the ability to lead workshops and shape solutions.
- Understanding of Power Platform governance, security, environment strategy and application lifecycle management.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, source control and CI/CD processes.
- Exposure to Azure services, integrations and Dynamics 365 would be highly beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across client and delivery teams.
- A proactive, consultative mindset with genuine interest in Microsoft technology and transformation.

Security clearance
Due to the nature of the work, applicants must be eligible for Security Clearance. This normally requires five years of continuous UK residency and the ability to complete pre-employment screening.
