Job Description
The Power Enablement Engineer for Services will serve as Vertiv’s specialist in the power domain, taking end-to-end ownership of the technical elements that underpin power service solutions. Working in close partnership with the power product Application Engineering team and the Power Implementation & Lifecycle Lead for Services, you’ll bring technical expertise in power systems (including MV and related high-density applications), to shape proposals that are technically sound and commercially credible. Whether supporting a customer workshop, contributing to an integrated service bundle, or developing reference architectures, you’ll operate as the trusted voice across the Power Chain.
Key Responsibilities
Power Technical Delivery
- Own power services technical solution design and quoting from end-to-end, from brief through to customer-ready output
- Provide support for bundled solutions and technical playbooks for the power domain
- Act as the go-to expert across EMEA for power services
- Maintain technical quality across all power service outputs
Sales & Customer Engagement
- Provide technical support for sales engagements and customer-facing presentations
- Lead customer-facing power service solution design workshops and consultations
- Support complex deal preparation and verification with power service domain expertise
- Develop customer-specific power service solution proposals

Solution Architect Input
- Provide specialist power input to the Product Application Engineer/Power Implementation & Lifecycle Lead to prepare for cross-domain solution wrapping
- Collaborate on solution architecture, with power service elements accurately scoped throughout
- Support the sales teams in positioning power services at the front of customer engagements
RFP & Commercial Support
- Lead power service scope within RFP responses and quoting processes
- Develop power pricing inputs and service configuration logic
- Support bid management with third parties on new power services
- Produce technical documentation for power service proposals
Domain Expertise & Knowledge
- Maintain expert technical knowledge in power systems, including MV and related high-density applications
- Develop power reference architectures and reusable design patterns
- Contribute domain expertise to training materials and enablement assets
- Provide power market and technology input to the Power Train Lead and Portfolio & Strategy Lead
