Power System Network Model Engineer - SCADA telemetry and mapping
Clearance: SC cleared or eligible
Working arrangement:
- SC cleared: hybrid, two to three days onsite.
- SC eligible: onsite five days per week.
- Must remain UK-based.
Essential skills:
- Electricity transmission network modelling within an Energy Management System (EMS).
- Modelling substations, busbars, circuit breakers, transformers, transmission lines, and generators.
- Network topology, connectivity modelling, and relationships between electrical assets.
- SCADA telemetry and mapping live monitoring data to network equipment.
- Experience with GE PowerOn, GE XA/21, or comparable transmission EMS platforms.
- Understanding of state estimation, power flow, and contingency analysis.
- Experience working for transmission operators, electricity utilities, or grid control centres.
