PPA Origination Manager | Renewable Energy & Digital Infrastructure

A growing energy and digital infrastructure business is seeking to appoint a PPA Manager to lead the structuring, valuation, negotiation, and optimisation of power supply arrangements across a portfolio of battery storage and digital infrastructure assets.

The role will have a particular focus on developing and structuring Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and commercial energy supply arrangements for grid-connected and private-wire solutions supporting large-scale data centre developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute energy procurement strategies across battery storage and data centre assets
  • Structure and negotiate sleeve PPAs, physical and virtual PPAs, private-wire arrangements, behind-the-meter supply agreements, and renewable energy contracts
  • Develop and maintain valuation models for complex and bespoke PPA structures
  • Identify opportunities to procure renewable power at scale and optimise energy delivery to data centre operations
  • Develop strategies to minimise transmission and network costs through innovative asset configurations and market participation
  • Support the commercial structuring of integrated grid park developments, including co-located generation, battery storage, flexible demand, and data centre infrastructure
  • Lead commercial negotiations with utilities, generators, developers, traders, and other energy market counterparties
  • Support negotiations with hyperscale and enterprise data centre customers regarding energy pricing and supply structures
  • Monitor wholesale power markets, regulatory developments, grid reform, and renewable energy market dynamics
  • Assess wholesale market exposure and contribute to hedging and risk management strategies
  • Act as the internal subject matter expert on power markets and energy commercialisation
  • Work closely with legal, finance, technical, and investment teams on transactions and strategic initiatives

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
