PPA Teacher – Berwick-upon-Tweed
2 Days per Week | Long-Term Position | Immediate Start | Village Primary School
Are you a qualified Primary Teacher looking for a part-time teaching position near Berwick-upon-Tweed?
Ripple Education is currently recruiting a PPA Teacher for two days per week at a small village primary school in the Berwick area, with an immediate start.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher looking for a consistent part-time role without the demands of a full-time class teacher position. Planning is provided, allowing you to focus on delivering engaging lessons, building positive relationships with pupils and becoming a valued part of the school community.
The school is looking for someone who can provide consistency for its children and become a reliable member of the team.

The opportunity
You’ll work two days per week, providing PPA cover across the school.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Delivering lessons across different primary year groups
- Planning lessons where required
- Adapting teaching to meet the individual needs of pupils
- Creating a positive, safe and engaging learning environment
- Providing continuity and consistency for children
- Managing the classroom confidently and positively
- Marking pupils’ work in line with the school’s marking policy
- Working closely with class teachers, teaching assistants and the wider school team
- Following school policies, procedures and expectations
- Following school and Ripple Education safeguarding procedures at all times

What we’re looking for
You’ll ideally have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within a primary school
- Confidence teaching across different primary year groups
- Strong classroom management skills
- High expectations for all pupils
- A flexible and adaptable approach
- A thorough understanding of safeguarding
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
- Availability to work two days per week on a long-term basis

Salary: 140 - 223.62 GBP Per day
