About Novi
Novi is an award-winning, specialist, data-driven digital marketing agency delivering PPC, Paid Social, SEO, Data, AI, and Automation services. We work predominantly with B2B and high-transaction B2C organizations, so our work is closely connected to commercial performance. We look beyond surface-level marketing metrics to understand our clients' business models, customer journeys, lead or transaction quality, and wider objectives.
Established Agency. Start-Up Mentality.
We are an established agency with proven expertise and long-standing client relationships, but we deliberately retain the energy, curiosity, and agility of a start-up. We question. We test. We communicate. We share ideas. We give and receive feedback. We adapt. If there is a better way of doing something, we want to know about it. Good ideas are not restricted by job title or seniority. We expect everyone to contribute, challenge constructively, and help improve our campaigns, client experience, systems, and wider business. Communication is central to our culture. We are predominantly remote, but remote does not mean isolated. We communicate regularly and proactively, and feedback is part of everyday working at Novi. Our team can also access coworking locations in Lancaster, Chester, Leeds, and Manchester. Our culture suits people who enjoy autonomy, ownership, collaboration, regular communication, solving problems, embracing new technology, and working somewhere that continues to evolve.
About the Role
We are looking for a PPC Account Manager to manage and develop a portfolio of clients, with a particular focus on PPC, Paid Social, and performance marketing.
This is a hands-on, client-facing digital marketing role.
You will take active responsibility for your accounts from strategy through to implementation, optimization, performance, communication, and ongoing development.
While we have specialists across PPC, Paid Social, SEO, Data, and other disciplines, our Account Managers are not simply coordinators between clients and delivery teams.
You will be expected to understand the work, contribute to it, and implement and optimize activity directly where appropriate.
This could include working within advertising platforms, supporting campaign builds, making campaign changes, reviewing budgets and targeting, analyzing performance, and identifying opportunities.
You will not necessarily implement every action across every channel, particularly where specialist expertise is required. However, you should be capable and willing to work directly within campaigns and platforms.
At Novi, ownership means understanding what needs to happen, why it needs to happen, ensuring it happens, and stepping in to implement it yourself where appropriate.
Because many of our clients operate in B2B and high-transaction B2C environments, commercial thinking is essential.
We do not just want somebody who can report what happened. We want somebody who asks:
- Why did it happen?
- What does it mean commercially?
- What should we do next?
What You'll Be Doing
Account Management & Delivery
- Manage the day-to-day relationship, delivery, and strategic direction of a portfolio of clients.
- Understand each client's business, market, audiences, competitors, and commercial objectives.
- Take end-to-end ownership of allocated accounts.
- Translate client objectives into strategies, actions, and deliverables.
- Implement account activity directly where appropriate.
- Collaborate with PPC, Paid Social, SEO, Content, Data, and other specialists when their expertise is required.
- Maintain visibility of campaigns, budgets, priorities, actions, and deadlines.
- Proactively identify risks, performance concerns, and opportunities.
- Ensure actions and client commitments are followed through.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Confidently understand metrics including CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, conversions, conversion rate, and lead quality.

Client Relationships
- Act as the primary day-to-day contact for allocated clients.
- Lead client meetings, performance reviews, and strategic discussions.
- Build trusted relationships through a genuine understanding of the client's business.

- Adapt when priorities or circumstances change.
- Contribute to improving our systems, services, and ways of working.
- Share knowledge with the wider team.
- Be comfortable testing new approaches and learning from the results.
We are established, but we do not want the bureaucracy or resistance to change that can sometimes come with being established.
We value people who thrive where ideas move quickly, communication is constant, feedback is normal, and improvement is everyone's responsibility.
