PPC Manager – Retail Clients

Location: Remote – UK
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced PPC Manager to manage and grow paid media campaigns for a portfolio of UK retail and e-commerce clients. This is a fully remote role suited to someone who is commercially minded, highly analytical and confident taking ownership of PPC accounts. You will be responsible for planning, launching, optimising and reporting on campaigns, with a strong focus on driving profitable online sales and maximising return on advertising spend. You will work across platforms including Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, managing campaigns across Search, Shopping, Performance Max and other relevant paid media formats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage PPC accounts for a portfolio of UK retail and e-commerce clients.
  • Plan, build and optimise Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising campaigns.
  • Manage Google Shopping, Performance Max, Search, remarketing and other campaign types.
  • Monitor budgets, bids, ROAS, CPA, conversion rates and other key commercial KPIs.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue while maintaining client profitability targets.
  • Carry out keyword research, search-term analysis and competitor research.
  • Optimise product feeds and work with Merchant Center to improve Shopping performance.
  • Analyse campaign and website performance using platforms such as GA4.
  • Produce clear weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights.
  • Forecast performance and help clients plan paid media budgets.
  • Conduct regular account audits and identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.
  • Test ad copy, audiences, landing pages, bidding strategies and campaign structures.
  • Monitor retail trends, seasonality, promotions and key trading periods such as Black Friday, Christmas and January sales.
  • Communicate performance, recommendations and strategy clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Keep up to date with developments across paid search, automation, AI-driven advertising and the wider digital retail landscape.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What Success Looks Like

You will take genuine ownership of your accounts rather than simply maintaining campaigns. Success will be measured by your ability to improve commercial performance, identify opportunities for growth and build strong relationships with clients. You should be comfortable explaining not only what happened in an account, but why it happened and what we should do next.

What We Offer

  • Fully remote working within the UK.
  • A high level of autonomy and ownership.
  • Opportunity to work with a varied portfolio of UK retail brands.
  • Flexible and supportive working environment.
  • Ongoing professional development and training.
  • Exposure to substantial e-commerce PPC campaigns and budgets.
  • Opportunity to influence client strategy rather than simply execute campaigns.

Working Arrangements

This is a UK-based remote position. Candidates should be comfortable working independently from home while collaborating regularly with colleagues and clients through video calls, messaging and project management platforms. We are looking for someone who combines strong technical PPC knowledge with commercial awareness and understands that successful retail PPC is ultimately about delivering profitable growth for clients.
