Competitve Salary | Hybrid | Travel to Gateshead Office Required
Looking to take the next step in your digital marketing career? Passionate about data, performance marketing and driving measurable results? We're looking for a highly skilled, analytical and self-motivated PPC Manager to join our dynamic in-house marketing team and play a key role in the success of our paid search strategy.
We offer a competitive salary, along with hybrid working based out of our Marketing Office in Gateshead. You'll be expected to attend the office a minimum of twice per month, typically for a total of 4 days per month, allowing you to collaborate with colleagues whilst maintaining flexibility.
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's largest automotive retail marketing functions, comprising around 85 marketing professionals across a wide range of specialist disciplines. Unlike many organisations, all PPC activity is managed entirely in-house, giving you direct ownership, control and influence over campaigns, strategy and performance.
As a business committed to developing talent, you'll have access to ongoing training, development and genuine opportunities for career progression within a growing marketing team.
About The Role
As PPC Manager, you will be responsible for managing, monitoring and optimising PPC campaigns across Google, Bing and Search Ads 360 (SA360). Working closely with colleagues across the wider marketing function, you'll develop and execute strategies that drive traffic, generate leads and maximise ROI across one of our business units.
This is a pivotal role where your expertise will directly contribute to the success of our digital marketing efforts. You'll be given the autonomy to identify opportunities, influence strategy and drive continuous performance improvements.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
